Numbing Information
To ensure your comfort during cosmetic tattooing, numbing cream is required. Please read the following carefully and order your products before your appointment.
What You Need to Order
- Pre-Treatment Numbing Cream (5g) — applied at home before you arrive
- During-Treatment Gel (5g) — used by your therapist during the procedure for ongoing comfort
Both products must be ordered in advance. Please ensure you have them ready before your appointment date.
What to Bring
Bring your During-Treatment Gel with you to your appointment. Your therapist will use this during your session. You do not need to bring the pre-treatment cream.
Is Numbing Compulsory?
Yes, numbing is compulsory for all cosmetic tattooing appointments. Arriving without your numbing products may result in your appointment needing to be rescheduled and a cancelation fee.
How to Apply the Pre-Treatment Cream
Your pharmacist will provide specific application instructions. General guidelines:
- Apply to clean, dry skin over the treatment area
- Cover with cling wrap to enhance absorption
- Leave on for the time specified by your pharmacist (typically 45 minutes before your appointment)
- Wear the pre-numbing cream to your appointment. Your therapist will remove the numbing cream during your treatment.
